How to cleanse safely at home

Use home Bio Fluff with potable water only, seated on the WC, following the manual.

1. Connect to the basin or bidet tap or shower hose via the Compensating Tap, checking adapters, seals and the Support Bracket on the WC; use the Universal Seat if needed.
2. Run potable water without additives. Set temperature to approximately 35–38 °C, never above 38 °C, checking the thermometer; use minimum pressure. Close flow at the regulator before preparing the speculum, keeping the bathroom tap open.
3. Close the compensator discharge with an electric water heater; keep it open during washing with a gas boiler.
4. Fit a new speculum on the bracket, clean with the supplied disinfectant wipe, generously lubricate its tip with petroleum jelly or similar and gently lubricate the anus according to the manual.
5. Sit down slowly, open flow at minimum pressure and empty your bowel while remaining seated. The wash takes a few minutes and varies from person to person; allow about 30 minutes in total for preparation, washing and cleaning.
6. Close the regulator, check the speculum is secured to the bracket, stand slowly and close the tap. Remove and always discard the speculum; wash and disinfect the bracket with a non-corrosive disinfectant, drain and dry components according to the manual.
